More reasons to be a YCST member

We’re delighted to welcome Browns of York to the YCST Member Discounts scheme, giving our members another great reason to join – and another way to make their membership pay for itself.

YCST members can now enjoy 10% off full-price items, every day, at Browns, the independent, family-owned department store in the heart of York.

Established in 1890, Browns has been serving the people of York for more than 130 years and offers a fantastic range of fashion, beauty, cosmetics, furniture, beds and homeware. Whether you’re looking for something for yourself, a gift for someone else or something for your home, there’s plenty to choose from.

And with Christmas fast approaching, the Browns discount couldn’t have arrived at a better time. Whether you’re looking for presents for family and friends or simply treating yourself, 10% off full-price items could make a real difference to your Christmas shopping.

We’d like to say a big thank you to Browns for supporting the Trust and, importantly, supporting our members. It’s fantastic to have such a well-known and long-established York business joining the scheme.

And Browns is just one of the benefits available through YCST membership. Our Member Discounts scheme continues to grow, with local independent businesses offering exclusive discounts and special offers to Trust members. By joining YCST, you’re not only supporting the work of the Trust and having a voice as a City supporter – you can also enjoy some great savings around York.

Our current member offers include:

  • Browns of York – 10% off full-price items every day.
  • Plonkers Wine Bar – 10% off on match days at the independent, family-owned wine bar and bistro on Cumberland Street.
  • Pureform Studio – £11 taster sessions plus 10% off classes at the city-centre reformer Pilates studio.
  • SPARK York – 15% off drinks at the independent community and creative venue on Piccadilly.
  • The Terrace – £3.50 bottles and pints before every home game, making it a great place to meet up before kick-off.

Membership starts at just £10 a year, so if you’re not already a member, why not join at ycst.org.uk/join? With offers like these, your membership can quickly start giving something back, while your support helps the Trust continue representing York City supporters.

You can find out more about Browns’ offer, how to claim your discount and see all the latest member benefits in the Member Discounts section of the YCST website.

Could you be our next Secretary?

We’re also still looking for a Secretary to join the York City Supporters’ Trust Board, and we’d love to hear from anyone who could help.

It’s an important role in helping the Trust stay organised and ensuring the Board continues to communicate effectively with its members and supporters. You don’t need previous experience as a Supporters’ Trust Secretary – if you’re organised, reliable and want to make a difference to the Trust and fellow City supporters, we’d be keen to hear from you.

Could this be you? Come and have a chat with us at the YCST gazebo on match day or get in touch at info@ycst.org.uk to find out more.

Join the Trust, enjoy the benefits and help support your club.

Enjoy the match and Keep The Faith!
