In response to extensive feedback from fans, the Supporters’ Trust is pleased to announce an official matchday partnership with the Huntington Sports & Social Club and travel partner Getaway Cars.
It has become abundantly clear that the lack of a social club at the LNER Community Stadium will significantly impact the matchday experience for many fans. The Trust has explored various options in the local area and are delighted to be working with a partner with strong connections to the grassroots game.
Open from 12 noon on matchdays, the Huntington club offers two bars, outdoor seating areas, multiple TV screens showing live football, on-site parking and member beer prices from just £3/pint.
The Trust has negotiated a special membership package for just £5 to 31st Dec 2021. This membership entitles you to reduced price drinks and access to the club on non-matchdays. Thanks for the reduced price drinks, we expect that most fans will recoup their membership after just one or two visits. Membership prices for 2022 will be announced soon but are expected to offer similar value for money.
Fans can order their membership online at https://www.ycst.org.uk/product/social-club-membership/ Order before 7th August and you can collect your membership card from the bar on the day of the Kidderminster Harriers fixture (14th August). You can start benefitting from reduced price drinks right away. Alternatively, you can purchase your membership card over the bar and collect on your next visit.

Getting to the Huntington Sports & Social Club
The entrance to the club is on North Lane, just off North Moor Road in Huntington. The 5 & 5A bus service runs every 15-20 from Acomb / City Centre (Station & Theatre Royal stops). The bus stop for the club is at the Huntington Service Station (opposite the Doctor’s surgery). Please note it’s NOT the Huntington WMC.
There is limited on-site parking for up to 30 cars. We ask that fans are respectful of local residents if you find that the car park is full.
Fans can also get a 10% discount on taxis to the club by quoting code ‘1922’ from Getaway Cars on 01904 707070.
Shuttle minibus to the LNER Community Stadium
The Huntington Sports & Social Club is a 1.2 mile (20 min) walk to the Jockey Lane entrance to the stadium. The Trust recognises that this may be a struggle for some fans, so we have arranged a shuttle minibus service for just £1. The drop-off is by the Jockey Lane pedestrian entrance to the stadium.
Provided by our travel partner Getaway Cars, this one-way service will run every 5-10 minutes from 13:30-14:45 for afternoon games and 18:15-19:30 for evening kick-offs. Tickets for the shuttle service can be purchased from the Huntington Club bar.
Please note that there will not be a return minibus service to the Huntington Club after matches.
