We are sorry to announce that James Richardson has resigned from the Trust Board, as he no longer has sufficient spare time to commit fully to the role. James has been an active member of the board for a since his election in 2024 and has participated fully in the Trust’s achievements in this time. We would like to thank for James for all his hard work.
James remarked “It has been a privilege to serve the York City fanbase for the last 18 months and I’d like to take this opportunity to wish my fellow Trust board members all the best for the future.”
Trust chair Seth Sowerby commented: “James has had a huge impact on York City Supporters’ Trust and YCFC over the years. We shall miss his contributions as a Trust board member.”
Established in 2002, York City Supporters Trust is a not-for-profit Community Benefit Society, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We were formed to protect the long-term future of the football club and represent the interests of the fans. We are also 25% shareholders in York City Football Club Ltd.
