We are sorry to announce that David Craven has resigned from the Trust Board, as he no longer has sufficient spare time to commit fully to the role.
David has been an active member of the board, focusing on the Trust’s involvement in the Bootham Crescent Memorial Garden project. While David is stepping down from the Board he will be seeing this project through as Volunteer Coordinator.
David remarked “It has been an eventful two years. When I decided to stand, Glen Henderson was still the owner and the challenges seemed very clear. By the time he had been elected, the Ugglas had taken over and the dynamics and prospects for the club had shifted dramatically.”
Trust chair Seth Sowerby commented: “David has had a valuable impact on York City Supporters’ Trust during his time on the board. We shall miss his contributions as a Trust board member but are thrilled that he will remain involved in the Memorial Garden project.”
