York City Supporters Trust Board would like to acknowledge the fantastic support received from our event sponsors that have helped us bring the celebrations to life.
Table Sponsors
Barnitts Ltd, Colliergate, York. Back in 1954/55 during that famous FA Cup campaign, City were drawn at home to the mighty Tottenham Hotspur in the 5th Round. Eagle eyed observers will notice that on Page 11 of the matchday programme for that famous fixture was an advert for Barnitts Limited – Tools for All Trades. Fast forward 70 years and Barnitts Ltd continues to support York City. We thank you for your continued support.
York Pullman Bus Co Ltd. A name synonymous with YCFC for many years. Back in 1955 sixteen Pullman coaches transported City fans to and from the Semi Final in Sheffield. Today both players and fans alike are transported to City away fixtures by York Pullman. We thank you for your partnership
John Pratt and Mike Haffenden are both lifelong York City supporters, John sponsored one table and Mike two tables. We really appreciate their support, further proof that York City has an amazing fanbase.
Wine & Drinks Package Sponsors
We’d also like to thank the Trust members & York City fans who generously sponsored wine and drinks for our guests: Alan Almond, Russell Cleaver, Chris Cockroft, David Dansie, Mike Haffenden, Jon Rawnsley, Kathleen Turner (formerly Bainbridge), Simon & Robin Turner, Anonymous (in memory of Raymond Hewitson) and Anonymous.
All of our sponsors are recognized in the commemorative matchday programme being produced for the Wealdstone fixture. Special thanks to Club Historian Paul Bowser for his help with the commemorative programme, and Loraine Noble, YCFC Hospitality & Retail Manager, who has been invaluable in helping bring the celebrations to life.
York City Supporters Trust Board Members look forward to meeting all of our sponsors on the day of the match and to saying a huge thank you in person.
