We are delighted to announce that York City Supporters’ Trust has contributed £25,000 towards York City FC’s pre-season training camp in La Nucia, Spain, running from Monday the 20th to Saturday the 25th of July.
With the club investing significantly in training ground refurbishments this summer, our contribution has helped make the trip possible — giving the first team the best possible preparation heading into our first EFL season in a decade.
Whilst in Spain, the Minstermen will face Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq twice, and supporters making the trip are welcome at both matches free of charge:
Wednesday 22nd July – York City vs Al-Ettifaq U21, 7pm kick-off, La Nucia Training Complex (Pitch 1)
Friday 24th July – York City vs Al-Ettifaq, 7pm kick-off, venue to be confirmed

The Supporter Raffle
To raise funds towards our sponsorship of the trip, we are running a supporter raffle — with three fantastic prizes generously donated by Julie-Anne Uggla:
First Prize – A pre-match meal with Julie-Anne and Matt Uggla in the LNER Directors Lounge, plus match tickets for a League Two fixture.
Second Prize – A framed team photo of the 2026/27 Men’s First Team squad
Third Prize – A signed Men’s First Team 2026/27 shirt

The closing date for ticket purchases is Friday the 14th of August.
The winning tickets will be announced at half time during our home fixture against Bristol Rovers on Saturday the 15th of August.
As the Trust approaches its 25th anniversary during the 2026/27 season, we very much hope all supporters will get behind this initiative — and every ticket sold helps make our voice even stronger.
