The Island is a well-established charity supporting some of the city's most disadvantaged, vulnerable and isolated young people to realise their potential through positive mentoring relationships and community activities.

The Island is planning to build a safe, inspirational state-of-the-art childrens' centre on an 8-acre site in Huntington, launching in 2026. Whilst providing a base for The Island, we envisage this being a multi-agency, multi-faceted space that provides amenities and resources for businesses, other charities and community groups in the city.
