This year’s AGM was held at SPARK York on Thursday the 16th of October, 2024. The meeting included a Hustings event for 4 candidates to put themselves forward for the 4 positions available on the Trust board, with each candidate allowed a maximum of 3 minutes to speak to the audience in the room and those watching via zoom. Electronic voting was used to register votes with 300 ballots submitted in total, up from 275 last year. We would like to thank all of those who voted for getting involved in these elections which are vitally important in shaping the future direction of the Trust over the next year.
2025 AGM Results
The results of the elections are below and this is now considered to be the final result, as confirmed by the Election Management Group:
James Daniels – 227 votes – Re-elected
Loraine Noble – 233 votes – Elected
Sarah Stelling – 206 votes – Re-elected
Malcolm Willis – 211 votes – Elected
Congratulations to all our successful candidates who are now elected to the Trust Board. They will be be invited to next Trust Board Meeting in November to begin their roles as board members.
Additionally, the motions to approve the minutes of the 2024 AGM, to accept the financial accounts for the period 2024-2025, and to reappoint Townends Accountants as independent examiners of the Trust’s accounts were approved unanimously.
