This year’s AGM was held at SPARK York on Thursday the 24th of October, 2024. The meeting included a Hustings event for 7 candidates to put themselves forward for the 6 positions available on the Trust board, with each candidate allowed a maximum of 3 minutes to speak to the audience in the room and those watching via zoom. Electronic voting was used to register votes with 275 ballots submitted in total, which is more than double the votes cast last year. We would like to thank all of those who voted for getting involved in these elections which are vitally important in shaping the future direction of the Trust over the next year.

The results of the elections are below and this is now considered to be the final result, as confirmed by the Election Management Group:-

Jim Calverley – 227 votes – Re-elected
James Richardson – 223 votes – Elected
Steve Ovenden – 222 votes – Re-elected
Alastair Smith – 217 votes – Re-elected
Sam Leach – 168 votes – Elected
Terry Espiner – 159 votes – Elected
Alex Fowler – 106 votes – Not elected

Congratulations to all our successful candidates who are now elected to the Trust Board. They will be be invited to next Trust Board Meeting in November to begin their roles as board members.

Additionally, the motion to adopt new Trust rules & policies was approved unanimously.
