York City Football Club Foundation are proud to be hosting their 7th annual Junior Football Club Tournament, in association with Community sponsors Benenden and the York City Supporters Trust.
This is the first year that the Supporters Trust have been involved, and the Foundation/Trust are delighted to be building a strong relationship. Both the Foundation and Trust are working hard to support events such as this in the local Community.
Whilst Benenden support the Fun Day, the Trust will be supporting the competitive ages Under 9’s to 12’s with the provision of trophies and medals. Representatives from the Trust will be attending the event at the official York City FC training ground on Wiggington Road for the weekend to get the chance to talk to the hundreds of families in attendance and spread the message about membership.
This years tournament will include teams from Under 7’s all the way through to Under 12’s and will be held 17th & 18th June 10am to 4pm approximately every day.
Hot food, drinks, ice creams and other activities will also be available over the weekend, so anyone wanting to come along and support the event and watch some fantastic junior footballers in action, is most welcome. Car parking is £3 and includes a full tournament programme.
This tournament is one of the highlights of our summer and a fantastic event supported by clubs all over the north of England, not just clubs from the York area.
